Hello all-
Welcome to this webpage where you can follow me as I journey through seminary.
I plan to primarily record videos and let you watch them since writing is not one of my strengths.
I already have a few recorded, however, since the internet is slow here I will most likely only be able to upload new videos when I am able to get into Maryville (the closest town) and use a better internet connection. What are some of the things you enjoy doing?

I appreciate spending time with family and friends. I love spending time in the outdoors, especially near or on the water. Every year, my family vacations at a cottage on Kangaroo Lake in Door County, and this is always one of my favorite weeks out of the year. While my family introduced me to camping, my love for it was perfected through the Boy Scouts. I enjoy camping, especially backpacking, and cooking. Cooking over a campfire or backpacking stove is very different, but just as fun as cooking with my dad in the kitchen or on the grill. I am take great pleasure in sitting by a fire, by a fireplace, or by a campfire ring. I edit corporate, event, and wedding videos. I have always spent time serving others. I enjoy watching Packer and Brewer games. I especially appreciate high school and college basketball. I love listening to good music. Some of my favorite concerts that I have attended include The Fray, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Matt Maher.

Please describe your family.

I have a very close knit family. My parents, Joseph and Mary (I guess I was destined to become a priest), met lectoring at St. Peter Parish in Oshkosh and have been married for 23 years. My dad works in regional sales for Sonic Air and my mom works with kindergardeners at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Elementary school in Oshkosh. I am the oldest child. My little brother John is a freshman at UW-Oshkosh studying secondary education. He is tall and runs fast. My sister Laura is a junior at Oshkosh West H.S. and is an exceptional piano player and artist.

Why are you entering the seminary?

I am entering seminary to grow in my faith and vocation. I will begin studying to some day, God willing, be ordained a priest.

What do you like about the Diocese of Green Bay?

The Green Bay diocese is home for me. I grew up in Oshkosh, and even though I began college in Milwaukee, I love the Green Bay area. I love the people and I love the surroundings, especially that we get to truly live all four seasons. I wouldn’t want to spend my life anywhere else.

Who are some of your favorite saints?

The Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Michael the Archangel are my two favorite saints, however there is a plethora of others that have touched my life. Mary is a second mother I can turn to whenever I am struggling. A quick Hail Mary is a powerful prayer. How better to get to truly know Jesus than through his mother. A particular devotion I spend time praying about is Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. St. Michael is the name I chose to keep as my confirmation name. He is the defender of heaven and the defender of my faith.
